Oh, hello everyone. I have no idea what Yeet means. Am I too old to be too cool for school? I've thought about going back for business. Have you entered the schooling phase later in life?

Lately there has been a lot of talk about the Netflix movie ‘Carry On’ but none of the talk is really about the movie but the old British movies and how the title doesn't translate well to all locations. I tried to watch it but it felt very familiar as if there were several other movies with the same formula. Sometimes that doesn't matter but this one fell flat for me.

If you are looking for something to binge watch that you may have missed, I recommend Prison Break. It's a great character drama and I'd watch it a second time around. I don't say that often but it's how I rate whether a show is truly great. It's much greater than Carry On at any rate.

Speaking of Carry On and the British Movies (I haven't seen them), how crazy was ‘Are You Being Served?’? So much innuendo for a show made in the 1970s.

In the first iteration of the newsletter, I focused on music trivia, knowledge and other items of note regarding classics. At times it felt forced and I dont want to feel lime Im just feeding facts at readers. Of course Ill still do some spotlights when I feel the passion within. 😉 

Going forward though, it will be more off the cuff. Is there anything you hope to see in the newsletter?

I suppose I can add one here that I really enjoy and that is Powertrip by Monster Magnet. You'll get plenty of ‘baby’ and fun lyrics and catchy guitar riffs that will have you either dancing or banging your head. It really is an album for everyone.
